New Website, New Blog!

Hi Scholars and Families!

Welcome to our new family blog! The URL for our blog will still be nvprep.org/famblog. Our new website has an awesome news feature that allows you to stay up to date on all things happening here at Nevada Prep. Below are some key updates and reminders for this school year from our previous blog!

  • As always, you can see the school calendar on our home page or view it directly at nvprep.org/calendar. The calendar page includes a description of the few cases where NV Prep and CCSD have calendar differences.

  • Scholars are expected to be in full uniform everyday. School polos are for sale in the front office if you need new ones for the school year! Please help us ensure all scholars maintain the uniform daily.

  • Masks will not be required on campus, but any scholar or adult is welcome to wear one, and we will provide masks to anyone who wants one. We will also continue to implement sanitation measures and follow any new guidance that comes from the CDC or Southern Nevada Health District.

  • Breakfast and lunch will still be available for free for all students. No paperwork or applications are required to receive free meals. Breakfast is available on campus, in the gymnasium at 7:30 each morning.

  • On Monday - Thursday, classes will start at 8:00 a.m., and dismissal will be at 3:30 p.m. Students who arrive in their classroom after 8:00 a.m. are marked tardy.

  • Student drop off and dismissal procedures will remain the same as last year. NV Prep has all staff on duty for dismissal to make sure students are safe and we don’t waste drivers’ time, so if you pull in the school’s main entrance on Kell Lane, we will direct you where to go.

  • If you are still missing any documents you need to submit for your child’s registration, you can drop them by the front office on campus any time this week or you can email them to [email protected]. If you are missing any documents, we will reach out to you; you do not need to contact us to confirm the status of your child’s records submissions.

  • If you have any friends or relatives you still want to enroll at NV Prep, you can start the registration process online at nvprep.org/registration2022.
