Polo shirts are available in two fabrics:

1.      60% Cotton/40% Polyester

2.     100% Polyester performance knit

Shirts are worn tucked in, with a black or brown belt.

Other shirt options (e.g., long sleeve) may be available through Campus Club, but we encourage all families to place their first order directly from Nevada Prep. All shirts purchased from Nevada Prep cost $15. Items purchased through Campus Club may cost more.

Bottoms

Scholars wear tan khaki pants, shorts, or a skirt. A variety of bottoms are available from Campus Club, but we encourage families to shop around and use clothes they already own. Bottoms can be purchased at any store. Below are a few examples of bottoms that m

Shorts and skirts should be long enough to extend past the fingertips of a scholar’s outstretched arms.

Pants should not be overly tight or restrictive. This will also help scholars keep they shirts tucked in.

Shoes & Socks

Scholars wear close toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals) to school every day.

Scholars are active during the school day, so shoes should be comfortable and sturdy enough for physical activity. On days when students have Sports & Fitness class, they should wear athletic shoes to participate fully.
Shoes may include a small brand logo or design, but shoes should avoid distracting colors (e.g., neon, metallic, or sparkly) and should never have wheels, lights, or sounds.

Below is a sample of some shoes that meet the expectation. If families have any questions about shoes they plan to buy for school use, please call or send a picture to Nevada Prep, and a team member will be happy to discuss.

If socks are visible, such as when scholars wear shorts, socks should be plain black or white.

Hair, etc.

Scholars should maintain a natural, non-distracting hair color, even if it is not their own natural hair color. For example, haired died brown, orange, black or blonde can meet the scholar dress expectation, but hair that is bright green or purple does not.

Scholars are welcome to wear one set of earrings to school but should not wear other body jewelry during the school day.

Scholars are welcome to wear a bracelet, ring, or necklace, as long as these jewelry items do not become a distraction.

Nevada Prep is committed to providing a best-in-class education, and our scholar dress expectations are an important part or our school culture. We thank families and students for their support in upholding the Nevada Prep Scholar Dress Expectations.
